Some simple tips to keep your life healthy and happy:
Each night before you go to bed, stop what you’re doing and relax for an hour. Whether this involves you watching TV, talking to your loved ones, or reading a book it is all down time for your brain. By having this down time for your brain allows it to slow down and for you to live in the moment. Make a cup of tea to drink whilst relaxing too!
Get up 20 minutes before your usual wake up time. By getting up just a little earlier than normal each morning it allows for yourself not to wake up in that rushed mode. Who wants to wake up to a panic?! Get up just that little bit earlier to relax, even meditate to start your day off on a nice note 🙂
Be active for at least 30 minutes each day. A great routine to get into is on each week day wake up meditate for 20 minutes then work our for 30-45 minutes and start your day. Professionals recommend that you are active for at least 30minutes each day – so remember to FIND THIRTY!
Each night before you go to bed, write down one thing that you did for yourself that day. This keeps you in a positive mindset. This thought could be anything from not putting to much pressure on yourself to watching your favourite TV show…basically whatever you please!
Don’t be too hard on yourself. This is a huge one. If things don’t go as you had planned, it is okay. And it will be okay. Remember that!
