Avocado is one of my favourite foods; I love it on bread and in my salads. Not too many people like avocado, as it is an acquired taste, but there are many reasons why you should make the effort to eat it:
High in fibre and protein: Avocado has plenty of protein and fibre. Add some nuts to your salad or in avocado spread and you’re well on your way for your optimum daily intake.
Helps prevent cancer: Although this may be a myth, is still makes you feel good about yourself. Eating avocado is said to help prevent the growth of cancer cells AND it helps the side effects of chemotherapy!
Assists in loosing weight: This is because studies have shown that those who eat avocado tend to lead a healthier lifestyle and healthier too. Your body loves it when you take care of it!
